I had a 1970s Seiko that my father wore for twenty years. It had stopped completely. Prayuth was straightforward from the start — he assessed it, sent a short report, and quoted clearly. The Mechanical Service took about three weeks. When I collected it, it was running better than I remembered it ever running. They kept the old mainspring too, as I asked.

Brought in a dress watch with a badly scratched sapphire crystal. The Crystal & Case Care service was recommended, and I agreed it was the right call. The watch came back in about a week and a half. The crystal is new, the case looks considerably better, and I was sent a brief note explaining what was done. Very organised operation.

I sent a pre-war pocket watch for restoration. To be honest I expected to be told it was not worth doing. Instead, Prayuth sent a detailed condition report and outlined three possible approaches ranging from minimal conservation to more comprehensive work. We discussed by phone and chose the middle path. The documentation I received when collecting is something I will keep with the watch. Genuinely impressive.

I had two watches serviced — one mechanical, one needing a crystal replacement. Both were handled at the same time. Communication was clear throughout. The mechanical one needed a new mainspring which added a small amount to the quote; they contacted me before ordering it. Both are running well now. I would bring more watches here without hesitation.

Took a 1980s Swiss automatic that had been sitting in a drawer for years. The wait time for the Mechanical Service was a little longer than initially estimated — about four weeks rather than three — but they kept me updated which I appreciated. The result is good. It keeps time to within a few seconds a day. Worth the wait and the cost.

I am particular about who touches my watches. Suwan was recommended by a collector friend and the experience justified the recommendation. The assessment process is methodical and the communication is honest. They told me one of my watches was not worth the cost of a full service and suggested a more targeted fix instead. That kind of candour is rare and useful.

The Situation
1960s Longines, Not Running
A client brought in a Longines manual-wind from his grandfather's estate. The movement had stopped completely and had not been serviced in at least two decades. The case showed heavy wear and the crystal was badly scratched.
What We Did
Restoration & Conservation. The movement was fully overhauled, including a new mainspring. The case was cleaned but not polished, preserving the natural wear. A new acrylic crystal matched the original specification. The client was consulted on every cosmetic choice.
The Outcome
The watch returned to reliable daily use with a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. A full restoration log was prepared. Timeline: seven weeks.
"I had not expected it to run again. Now it is the watch I wear every day." — client, April 2025
The Situation
Daily Seiko, Losing Five Minutes a Day
A Bangkok office worker brought in a Seiko automatic — his daily watch for four years — that had started running significantly fast. The case was in good shape. No crystal issues.
What We Did
Mechanical Service. The movement was disassembled, cleaned, and re-lubricated. The escapement was found to need adjustment. No part replacements were necessary. The watch was measured across multiple positions and regulated to under five seconds a day before return.
The Outcome
Returned in under three weeks, running consistently within two to three seconds per day. Final cost was at the starting price — no additional parts required.
"Exactly what I needed — no more, no less." — client, March 2025
The Situation
Gift Watch, Cracked Mineral Crystal
A client received a watch as a gift — a mid-range Swiss quartz — but it had arrived with a cracked crystal, presumably from shipping. The movement appeared to be fine. She wanted it sorted quickly before presenting it again.
What We Did
Crystal & Case Care. A matching mineral crystal was sourced and fitted. The case and bracelet were cleaned. Gaskets were checked. A basic function test confirmed the movement was unaffected by the crack. The watch was ready in under a week.
The Outcome
Collected within eight days. The watch was presented as intended, with the original issue invisible. Service note confirmed crystal specification for future reference.
"It looks completely new. Nobody would know." — client, May 2025
